The Flying Flea C6 has now received sales launch for the 3rd city in India. Royal Enfield have expanded their sales and service network for their first ever electric motorcycle in the country by setting up 10 dedicated centres for the Flying Flea C6 in Pune, Western India. With their existing network of 12 centres in Bengaluru and 4 in Hyderabad, the company is making great strides in establishing a solid sales network for the Flying Flea C6.

The company now has 26 centres for the Flying Flea C6 in Pune with each dealer being based in key areas in the city, including Pimple Saudagar, Wakad, Market Yard, Wakdewadi, Chinchwad, Kondhwa, Yerawada, Wagholi, Baner and Kasarwadi, with dealers such as Nomadic Motorbikes, Kings Royal Riders, Dhone Automobiles, Brahma Motors, Hridaan Motors, Legacy Automotive, Chopada Motors and Vogue Motocorp LLP.

Each centre provides sales and post sales support, under the Flying Flea hub and spoke ownership system. Customers will receive dedicated tech support plus regular servicing. All owners of the Flying Flea C6 will enjoy 24×7 breakdown support. The confidence in the two wheeler market and tech scene in Pune make it an exciting location to move into, with a large rider community who know what they want from their premium motorcycles. Initial feedback from the southern regions has been positive with owners in Bengaluru and Hyderabad already clocking up more than 1.25 lakh km.

The Flying Flea C6 has a hefty price tag of Rs 2.79 Lakh (ex-showroom). However, if you are looking for something more affordable then a Battery as a Service option is available reducing the price to just Rs 1.99 Lakh. The Flying Flea C6 comes in 3 colours; Storm Black, Flea Green and Parachute White. It takes clear design cues from the original classic Flying Flea models from Royal Enfield in the 1940s. It features an awesome retro design with an iconic girder fork. Underneath the retro aesthetic lies some serious electric performance.

It features a 3.91kWh Li-Ion battery pack with a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 15.4kW and 60Nm of torque, giving over 400Nm of torque to the wheels. At just 124kg, it boasts an IDC range of 154km, 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 115kmph. Additional premium features include cornering ABS, traction control and 5 riding modes including fully customisable.

The Flying Flea C6 was introduced earlier this year by Royal Enfield, initially launching it in Bengaluru then later expanding to Hyderabad. It has also launched in the UK and various other European countries showing it has big aspirations internationally. A new model called the S6 is confirmed to be released soon, however it will share the same foundations but will have a more scrambler look. This shows that the Flying Flea C6 is just the start of the Flying Flea family. The model is being rolled out in an extremely cautious manner. They are ensuring that there is a solid sales and service network in place for all owners.

With Pune launched, the Flying Flea C6 will be accessible to a larger audience wanting a unique premium electric motorcycle.
