Mahindra has unveiled a unique new feature on the much-upgraded BE 6 Sporteq, letting owners put their personality on their cars. This latest iteration of the Mahindra-born electric SUV lets customers express themselves with a customisable tailgate display, projecting a chosen message in animated tail-lamp graphics across the car’s tailgate.
Offered as part of the overall tech upgrades to the Sporteq specification, the animated tailgate display sees drivers choose from a variety of pre-set messages or create their own, displayed as eye-catching animated graphics across the BE 6’s distinctive rear lights.
The tailgate display is part of a range of upgrades to the BE 6’s cabin and connected tech, including the triple-screen dashboard, software-defined vehicle architecture and Google Gemini voice assistant that form part of the overhauled ‘Sporteq’ specification. Combined with the extended battery options of 59 kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh, delivering up to 683 km on a single charge, this new feature underlines the BE 6’s status as a more expressive and connected electric SUV.
Now available to customers following the launch of customer deliveries of the BE 6 Sporteq, the new animated display lets owners put their personality on their car every time they go out.
