A landmark multi-partner deployment of 100 EVIATOR 350 electric reefer trucks scales up sustainable quick-commerce logistics across major Indian cities.

New Delhi/Chennai, June 2026 — Green Drive Mobility, one of India’s leading electric vehicle fleet operators, has joined hands with Montra Electric and TVS Vehicle Mobility Solution to deploy 100 units of the EVIATOR 350 electric refrigerated trucks. The vehicles will support More Retail’s expanding quick-commerce and cold-chain logistics operations across key Indian cities

This deployment represents a significant milestone in India’s transition toward green last-mile and mid-mile logistics, particularly for temperature-sensitive deliveries in the booming quick-commerce sector.

The Montra Electric EVIATOR 350 is a heavy-duty electric small commercial vehicle (e-SCV) specifically configured with an advanced refrigeration system. It can maintain temperatures between -25°C and +25°C, making it ideal for transporting fresh groceries, frozen foods, pharmaceuticals, and other perishable goods.

EVIATOR 350 include:

  • Payload capacity of approximately 1.7 tons
  • 10.3-ft loading deck
  • Strong electric motor delivering up to 80 kW peak power and 300 Nm torque
  • Certified range of up to 292 km (real-world range around 170+ km with full load, higher in certain variants with larger batteries)
  • Fast-charging capability and low operating costs

The integration of a reliable battery-operated refrigeration unit (such as Hwasung Thermo systems in some configurations) ensures consistent cooling performance without compromising the vehicle’s electric drivetrain efficiency.

Green Drive Mobility brings its expertise in operating large-scale EV fleets, while Montra Electric (part of the Murugappa Group) supplies the purpose-built vehicles. TVS Vehicle Mobility Solution supports deployment, sales, and service across regions.

This collaboration enables More Retail to significantly reduce carbon emissions in its supply chain while lowering fuel and maintenance costs compared to traditional diesel reefer trucks. Electric refrigerated vehicles also deliver quieter operation, which is particularly advantageous for urban deliveries during early morning or late-night slots.

Commenting on the deployment, representatives highlighted that the EVIATOR 350 was developed as a purpose-built solution that seamlessly integrates refrigeration with electric mobility, addressing the specific demands of high-frequency quick-commerce operations.

With this rollout, the partners aim to demonstrate the viability of electric refrigerated transport at scale. Future plans may include further fleet expansions and deeper integration of telematics and route optimization for even greater efficiency.

This initiative not only accelerates India’s sustainable logistics journey but also reinforces the growing ecosystem of EV manufacturers, fleet operators, and service providers working together to decarbonize commercial transport.
