It is based on the all-new EL01 platform and the latest spy shots reveal some important new details before its official launch on August 29, 2026. Although the test mule is still heavily camouflaged, a few interesting details are now visible. The Konarc appears to take inspiration from Ather’s EL01 concept, with a handlebar-mounted headlamp and a large LED DRL placed on the front apron, giving it a different identity compared to the Ather Rizta. The side panels look clean and simple, while the rear gets a slim LED tail lamp. There’s also a sturdy grab rail that doubles up as a small backrest for the pillion.
These fresh images provide the clearest view yet of the production-bound scooter that will mark Ather’s entry into the more affordable, high-volume family scooter segment. The overall proportions and design language stay faithful to the EL01 concept first shown last year, signalling that the company has kept the practical and approachable styling largely intact for the road-ready version. The handlebar-mounted headlight combined with the prominent daytime running light on the apron creates a distinctive front face that sets the Konarc apart from Ather’s existing Rizta and 450-series models. Clean body panels keep the side profile uncluttered, while the slim LED tail lamp and dual-purpose grab rail add both visual sharpness and everyday usability for two-up riding.
Built on the modular EL platform developed with extensive real-world data, the Konarc is expected to prioritise practicality, ease of use and competitive pricing. Early indications point to a 14-inch front wheel and 12-inch rear wheel combination, a digital instrument cluster, and support for battery packs in the 2 kWh to 5 kWh range. The scooter is widely anticipated to be positioned between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1.25 lakh, allowing Ather to compete more directly with volume players in the mass-market electric scooter space.
