Ahmedabad-based Avore Electric is set to make its debut in India’s competitive electric two-wheeler market with the launch of its first electric motorcycle on July 28, 2026. The upcoming model promises sporty naked/streetfighter styling and is positioned as a strong electric alternative to 125-200cc ICE motorcycles.
The motorcycle features a 5 kWh battery pack paired with a 10.5 kW (approximately 14 bhp) motor. This powertrain is expected to deliver peppy performance suitable for urban commuting and highway runs, with teasers and spy shots suggesting a claimed range that could exceed 250 km on a single charge in real-world conditions.
A digital instrument cluster visible in teasers has shown a remaining range of around 215 km at 82% battery charge, indicating strong efficiency potential.
Teasers and road tests in Ahmedabad reveal a sporty naked motorcycle design with:
- Sharp LED headlight
- T-shaped tail lights
- Muscular tank section
- Split seat
- Alloy wheels
- Disc brakes on both ends (likely with single-channel ABS)
- Telescopic front forks and monoshock rear suspension
The bike adopts a conventional yet premium streetfighter stance with wide handlebars, a beefy body, and a trellis-style frame on the AVR platform. Additional highlights include full LED lighting, a large digital/TFT console, and practical elements like a charging port under a tank-style lid and possible storage space.
Avore Electric, the consumer brand of Samarth E-Mobility Private Limited, stands out for its heavy emphasis on in-house development. The company has built a proprietary AVORE Source technology stack and AVR platform over three years with a team of over 100 engineers. This includes:
- Patented Battery Management System (BMS)
- Motor and controller
- Onboard fast charger
- Proprietary operating system
The firm has filed over 110 intellectual property applications, aiming for greater reliability, over-the-air updates, and reduced dependence on imported components.
Avore targets the high-volume 125-200cc commuter and lifestyle segment, offering performance, practicality, and intelligent features for everyday Indian riding conditions. Expected pricing is around ₹1.50 lakh, positioning it against rivals like Revolt RV400, Oben Rorr Evo, and others in the premium electric motorcycle space.
