Global electric vehicle giant Tesla has expanded its footprint in India with the opening of its first Experience Centre in Hyderabad on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Located in HITEC City (Sattva Knowledge City, Madhapur), this marks Tesla’s fifth Experience Centre in the country and its first in South India outside of Bengaluru.

Tesla already operates Experience Centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram. The new Hyderabad facility will allow customers to explore Tesla’s ecosystem, including the latest vehicles, advanced technology, and sustainable energy solutions through guided walkarounds and interactive demonstrations by Tesla Advisors.

Visitors to the new centre can experience the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive, priced at ₹50.89 lakh (ex-showroom), offering a range of up to 500 km, and the longer six-seater Model Y L, starting at ₹61.99 lakh with a claimed range of up to 681 km.

The opening underscores Tesla’s growing commitment to the Indian market. While vehicle deliveries and after-sales service will continue to be handled from the company’s existing Bollaram facility in Hyderabad, the new Experience Centre focuses on brand engagement, education, and helping potential customers understand Tesla’s full-vehicle software capabilities, home charging solutions, and upcoming Supercharger network plans.

This strategic expansion into Hyderabad — a major IT and business hub — is expected to boost Tesla’s visibility and sales momentum in southern India, where demand for premium electric vehicles continues to rise. With this fifth outlet, Tesla is steadily building its retail presence across key Indian metros as it prepares for deeper market penetration in one of the world’s fastest-growing automotive markets.
