Tesla India has expanded further, with Skymark One in sector 98, Noida, Uttar Pradesh getting the company’s seventh Experience Centre. The new facility strengthens Tesla’s position in the National Capital Region, complementing the already established Experience Centres in Aerocity, New Delhi, and Sohna Road, Gurugram, as well as those in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Being a retail-only retail point of the company, the Noida Experience Centre allows the would-be buyers in Noida and the nearby areas to view the company’s cars, test drive them and complete their orders locally, usually on a daily basis from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.The visitors will have a chance to experience and book a test drive in all of the current Model Y variants available in India.

Amongst them, the five-seater Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive offers a WLTP range of up to 500 km, while accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, at a price of ₹50.89 lakh ex-showroom. The car offers ample storage of up to 2,138 litres, including the power-folding seats. Additionally, the five-seater premium all-wheel-drive version, known as the Model Y L (or Model YL) has a WLTP range of up to 681 km, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds, offering 2,539 litres of storage. Notably, both variants get regular over-the-air software updates, including the availability of the Grok AI assistant in several Indian languages.

With the recent addition of the Noida Experience Centre, Tesla owners registering their vehicles in Uttar Pradesh benefit from the state’s EV incentive policy providing for a 100 per cent exemption from the road tax (and registration fee) on the purchase of pure electric vehicles in the state until 13 October 2027. Thus, the owners can make use of this exemption when registering their new Tesla purchase in Uttar Pradesh, which could make buying a Tesla Model Y or Model Y L even more affordable than in other states as the on-road price of the car in Uttar Pradesh would be lower by the amount of the road tax exemption.

Tesla’s latest Experience Centre in Noida is yet another step in the company’s efforts to build its direct-to-consumer network across India since its launch there. Whilst the Noida Experience Centre does not provide any service or collision repair capabilities, the customers from NCR still have the option to charge their Teslas at the existing Experience Centres in Delhi and Gurugram, and to get their Teslas serviced at the Tesla-approved collision centres in the National Capital Region. The visitors can arrange a test drive at their earliest convenience via the official Tesla India website or by calling the toll-free number 1800-203-1538. With the recent addition of the Noida Experience Centre, Tesla has brought its electric cars closer to more potential customers in one of India’s key growth markets, highlighting not only the value of its products but also the benefits of the state’s EV-friendly policies in Uttar Pradesh.
