What makes this story remarkable is that the vehicle is not part of any company testing programme. It is privately owned by Mr. Feng, a daily commuter who uses the rear-wheel-drive sedan extensively. His usage averages nearly 600 kilometres every day, making the SU7 one of the highest-mileage examples of the model in regular civilian use.

Mr. Feng recently shared a detailed inspection report from a Xiaomi-authorised service centre on social media. The document highlights the strong performance of the car’s 94.3 kWh battery pack despite heavy and continuous use. Based on an estimated energy consumption of around 18 kWh per 100 kilometres, the car has completed approximately 506 full charging cycles.

Before the inspection, the owner himself expected noticeable degradation. Like many EV users, he assumed that such intense usage would reduce battery health significantly. “I thought it would be around 90 per cent at most,” he reportedly said. Instead, the results exceeded expectations, showing minimal loss in capacity.

The post quickly gained attention online, sparking discussions about electric vehicle longevity and real-world battery performance. Many users pointed out that the example demonstrates how modern battery management systems and thermal controls can help maintain long-term efficiency, even under demanding conditions.
