VinFast has officially opened bookings for its much-awaited VF MPV 7, an all-electric 7-seater MPV designed to offer spacious family-friendly mobility in India. Prospective buyers can now reserve the vehicle by paying a token amount of just ₹21,000 at any authorised VinFast dealership across the country. The company is set to unveil the official pricing on April 15, 2026, with deliveries expected to begin shortly after the launch.
This booking announcement comes on the heels of VinFast’s strong push into the Indian EV market. Recently, the Vietnamese automaker inaugurated its 50th authorised dealership in India, marking a significant milestone in its retail network growth. The new flagship 3S facility (sales, service, and spares) in Bengaluru underscores the brand’s commitment to building a robust presence with widespread customer accessibility.
According to industry reports, VinFast will introduce the VF MPV 7 in two distinct versions:
- A standard private-use variant targeted at families and individual buyers.
- A dedicated cab/fleet-oriented version (expected to be called Limo Green), aimed at the commercial ride-hailing segment.
The company had previously announced plans to roll out its own Green and Smart Mobility (GSM) ride-hailing service in India, and the fleet variant of the MPV 7 is likely to form a key part of that ecosystem. This dual approach allows VinFast to cater to both personal and commercial electric mobility needs simultaneously.
The VF MPV 7 features a practical 7-seater layout with generous interior space. It is powered by a 60.13 kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing around 201 hp and 280 Nm of torque. Global specifications suggest a claimed range of up to 450–500 km (depending on the testing cycle), with fast-charging capability that can take the battery from 10% to 70% in approximately 30 minutes.
The MPV is expected to compete with other three-row electric offerings in India, such as the Kia Carens Clavis EV, BYD eMax 7, and Mahindra XEV 9S. It promises a comfortable cabin with modern features, good boot space (expandable significantly with seats folded), and family-oriented practicality.
