V-Green, the EV charging infrastructure arm of Vietnam’s Vingroup, has entered into a strategic partnership with ChargeZone, India’s largest EV charging network operator, to develop a dedicated co-branded charging ecosystem for VinFast customers across the country.
The collaboration marks a significant step in supporting VinFast’s ambitious expansion in the world’s third-largest automotive market. The first 15 charging stations under this partnership are already operational, with nearly 100 additional co-branded stations planned for deployment over the next six months.
The partnership creates India’s first co-branded EV charging network specifically tailored for VinFast vehicles. Under the agreement, V-Green will handle site selection and deployment planning, while ChargeZone will manage day-to-day operations of the charging stations.
The first station has gone live in Vadodara at Mangla Trade Hub, strategically located adjacent to a VinFast dealership. This placement underscores the partnership’s focus on integrating charging infrastructure with sales and service points for a smoother customer experience.
VinFast has been rapidly scaling its presence in India, including local manufacturing at its Thoothukudi facility in Tamil Nadu. Reliable and widespread charging infrastructure is critical to building consumer confidence in electric vehicles, particularly as the company targets both urban and emerging markets in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
This dedicated network will help address range anxiety for VinFast owners and accelerate broader EV adoption in India by providing reliable, high-quality charging solutions optimized for VinFast’s electric vehicles.
ChargeZone brings extensive operational expertise as one of India’s leading charging network operators, while V-Green contributes global experience from the Vingroup ecosystem, which has successfully deployed charging infrastructure in multiple international markets.
The initiative aligns with India’s national push toward electric mobility, supported by government policies promoting EV manufacturing and infrastructure development. By combining international expertise with local operational strength, the partnership aims to set a new benchmark for brand-specific charging networks in the country.
With 15 stations live and aggressive expansion plans underway, the V-Green-ChargeZone network is expected to significantly enhance accessibility for VinFast customers. The collaboration is likely to extend to key highways, commercial hubs, and residential areas, creating a comprehensive charging backbone.
As VinFast continues to roll out more models and expand its dealership footprint, this charging partnership will play a pivotal role in delivering a complete ownership ecosystem — from vehicle purchase to convenient, reliable charging. This development signals strong confidence in India’s EV future and positions VinFast as a serious long-term player committed to building not just vehicles, but the entire supporting infrastructure.
