At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Ultraviolette unveiled a voice-enabled AI assistant integrated into its flagship F77 electric motorcycle. Branded as ‘Violette’, the innovative technology has been co-developed with SoundHound AI and enables riders to operate and access various functions through straightforward voice commands, enhancing convenience, connectivity, and safety on the move.
The Bengaluru-based performance electric motorcycle manufacturer demonstrated the system live at the show, where visitors controlled multiple features of the F77 using simple voice prompts. By activating the assistant with the wake phrase “Violette”, riders could switch riding modes, initiate navigation, and query real-time information from the digital user manual—such as recommended tyre pressure, service instructions, and step-by-step how-to guides.
The showcase also highlighted more advanced, futuristic capabilities, including pre-ride system checks, detailed ride statistics, proactive alerts for potential issues, and timely service reminders—all accessible hands-free via voice interaction. This hands-free approach is designed to minimize distractions, allowing riders to keep their focus on the road while staying informed and in control.
Violette operates through an audio-integrated helmet, which serves as the primary interface between the rider and the motorcycle. This setup ensures seamless communication without requiring riders to glance at the bike’s display or use physical controls, significantly improving real-world safety—especially important for two-wheeler users in dynamic riding environments.
Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, emphasized the role of AI in transforming mobility: “At Ultraviolette, we believe AI is going to play a pivotal role in enhancing rider safety. The integration of Violette AI with SoundHound’s voice technology marks a significant step in advancing human–machine interaction and delivering a more immersive and future-ready riding experience.
“Niraj Rajmohan, CTO and Co-founder, added that the system simplifies complex interactions, anticipates rider needs, and creates a smarter, safer paradigm of connected mobility that remains deeply human-centric.The debut follows Ultraviolette’s recent advancements, including the launch of the radar-equipped X-47 crossover electric ADV, underscoring the company’s focus on technology-driven features like OTA updates, remote diagnostics, and now intelligent voice assistance. While Violette is currently showcased on the F77, it positions Ultraviolette to potentially integrate similar capabilities into upcoming models such as the Tesseract electric scooter and Shockwave electric dirt bike.
This unveiling at CES 2026 highlights the growing convergence of AI, voice technology, and electric two-wheelers, setting a new benchmark for intuitive, distraction-free riding. As Ultraviolette continues to push boundaries in the EV space, Violette represents a key milestone toward more connected, intelligent, and rider-focused electric motorcycles.
