Ultraviolette Automotive, the Bengaluru-based pure electric vehicle manufacturer, has set a new global benchmark by launching a comprehensive rider training academy in India. The company claims this makes it the first electric two-wheeler brand worldwide to establish a structured academy dedicated to both track and off-road training with progressive certification. The initiative unifies the brand’s earlier model-specific programmes under a single platform designed to elevate rider skills beyond casual experiences.

The academy is organised around two distinct pathways. ‘Into the Wild’, originally developed around the X-47 crossover motorcycle, concentrates on off-road riding and the challenges of navigating technical terrain. Riders learn balance, body positioning, throttle and brake control, terrain assessment, obstacle management and motorcycle recovery techniques on loose or uneven surfaces. ‘Track Attack’, created for the F77 electric motorcycle, focuses on circuit performance. Participants work on racing lines, braking points, corner entry and exit, throttle control, body positioning, track etiquette, flag protocols and consistent lap times while being introduced to the fundamentals of motorsport.

Both programmes follow a three-level structure that combines classroom instruction with practical sessions. Riders must successfully complete assessments at each stage before progressing, ensuring skills develop methodically rather than through one-off events. Training is led by certified and experienced instructors, including national champions, and takes place at controlled racetracks and dedicated off-road environments. Notably, the academy is open not only to Ultraviolette owners but to riders of any electric or internal-combustion motorcycle, with ICE participants bringing their own bikes.

The first Level 1 session of Into the Wild was held in Bengaluru on 23 August 2026. A Track Attack session is scheduled to follow on 27 September. Ultraviolette intends to maintain a year-round calendar that expands across additional racetracks and off-road locations throughout India. The overarching goal is to progressively build motorcycle control, technical ability, safety awareness and sound riding judgement, reflecting the company’s broader emphasis on performance and responsible riding.
