In a promising development for electric vehicle enthusiasts in Goa, Narayan Subramaniam, Founder & CEO of Ultraviolette Automotive, has signaled the company’s plans to establish a presence in the coastal state soon. The comment came in response to a customer query on social media about whether Ultraviolette would open a showroom in Goa. When asked about potential expansion, the CEO replied along the lines of “we will be there soon,” sparking excitement among riders in the region who have been awaiting easier access to the brand’s high-performance electric motorcycles.

Ultraviolette has been on an aggressive retail expansion drive. The company, known for models like the F77 series and the upcoming X-47, Shockwave, and Tesseract, recently crossed significant milestones:

  • Opened its 42nd outlet in India, including a second UV Space Station in Chennai.
  • Currently present in around 35+ cities with plans to scale to ~100 stores across 70 cities.
  • Strong demand indicators, with bookings reportedly surpassing 75,000.

This rapid growth is backed by investments from partners like TVS Motor and Zoho Corporation, and the company is investing heavily in manufacturing capacity expansion in Karnataka while exploring further opportunities

As of now, there are no official Ultraviolette showrooms or authorized dealers listed in Goa (North or South). Customers interested in test rides or purchases currently rely on nearby outlets or online inquiries. The CEO’s reassuring comment indicates that Goa is on the radar as part of Ultraviolette’s push into more Tier-II and coastal markets. A dedicated showroom would bring:

  • Easy access to test rides for the F77 Mach 2, SuperStreet, and future models.
  • After-sales service and support.
  • Local availability of high-performance electric two-wheelers suited for Goa’s scenic roads and riding culture.

Goa’s growing EV adoption, tourism-driven lifestyle, and appeal to performance-oriented riders make it a logical next step for the brand.
