Škoda Auto has officially revealed the Epiq, its smallest and most affordable electric vehicle yet. Positioned below the Elroq in the lineup, the new compact electric SUV crossover aims to bring practical, tech-packed, and range-capable electric driving to a wider audience at an accessible price point.

With bold Modern Solid design language, impressive practicality, and competitive specifications, the Epiq is set to shake up the entry-level electric SUV segment.

The Epiq showcases Škoda’s new Modern Solid design philosophy for the first time in a production model. It features distinctive split LED headlamps, bold T-shaped tail-lamps, and a robust yet aerodynamic stance with a drag coefficient that supports efficient performance.Measuring just over 4.1 metres in length with a 2,601 mm wheelbase, the Epiq offers a spacious cabin despite its compact dimensions. It delivers a generous 475-litre boot and an additional 25-litre frunk, making it highly practical for daily use and weekend getaways.

Buyers can choose from two battery options and multiple power outputs:38.5 kWh LFP battery (in Epiq 35 and 40 variants) — Offering solid efficiency and longevity.
55 kWh NMC battery (in the top Epiq 55) — Delivering higher energy density.

The range-topping version produces up to 211 hp (155 kW) and 290 Nm of torque, enabling 0-100 km/h in around 7.4 seconds. Škoda claims a maximum WLTP Fast charging is a highlight: the 55 kWh variant supports 10-80% DC fast charging in approximately 23-24 minutes.

Inside, the Epiq features a modern, driver-focused cockpit with:

  • A 13-inch infotainment touchscreen
  • Digital driver’s display
  • Premium options including a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, and a high-quality Canton sound system

Additional practical features include V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) and V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) bidirectional charging capabilities, allowing the Epiq to power devices or even share energy with other vehicles.

The Epiq is expected to start from around £24,950 (approx. €29,000–€30,000 depending on market), positioning it competitively against rivals and close to the price of Škoda’s petrol-powered Kamiq. Order books are anticipated to open in summer 2026, with first deliveries following shortly after. Limited First Edition models with unique styling accents (such as Navajo Orange details) will also be available at launch.

The Škoda Epiq delivers exactly what many buyers have been waiting for: a stylish, practical, and genuinely affordable electric SUV without major compromises on range, tech, or everyday usability. Whether for urban commuting or longer trips, it brings Škoda’s renowned “Simply Clever” philosophy into the electric era.

With strong competition heating up in the small electric SUV space, the Epiq looks ready to become a serious contender — and a gateway model that could bring many new customers into the electrified world.
