Revolt Motors Crosses 50,000 Customer Deliveries in India

Revolt Motors, a pioneering force in India’s electric two-wheeler segment, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer to surpass 50,000 customer deliveries.

Launched in August 2019 as the country’s first zero-emission motorcycle brand, Revolt Motors introduced its flagship model, the RV400, marking the beginning of a new era in sustainable urban mobility. According to official retail sales data from the government’s Vahan portal, the company has delivered a cumulative total of 51,216 units from October 2019 through February 17, 2026.

This delivery landmark arrives just six months after a related production achievement: On June 20, 2025, Revolt rolled out its 50,000th e-motorcycle from its manufacturing facility in Manesar, Haryana. That milestone unit was a top-spec RV1+ in a striking Titan Red Silver finish, highlighting the company’s evolving lineup beyond its original RV400.

A Journey of Resilience and Growth

Revolt Motors has demonstrated steady progress in a competitive and evolving EV market. Annual sales highlights include:

  • A peak in CY2022 with 14,910 units.
  • A strong rebound in CY2025, delivering 11,019 units—the second-highest yearly figure—despite challenges such as the impact of GST 2.0 changes, which lowered prices for internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycles and created short-term headwinds for EV adoption in early 2026.

The company’s current portfolio features multiple models, including the flagship RV400 (and its BRZ variant), the more recent RV1 series, and the commuter-focused RV BlazeX. These bikes emphasize features like removable lithium-ion batteries, smart connectivity via the MyRevolt app, AI-enabled riding modes, impressive ranges (up to 150+ km per charge in many variants), and high-torque performance tailored for urban and semi-urban riders. As India’s electric two-wheeler landscape grows—with over 250 manufacturers now active—Revolt stands out as an early entrant that has maintained relevance through innovation, expansion into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, and a growing dealership network (currently around 200 outlets, with plans to double it by the end of FY26).

Looking Ahead

This 50,000+ delivery milestone underscores Revolt Motors’ role in accelerating India’s shift toward cleaner transportation. Backed by parent company RattanIndia Enterprises, the brand continues to focus on scaling production (targeting over 3 lakh units annually by end-2026), exploring international markets, and making electric motorcycles more accessible and appealing to a broader audience.Revolt’s achievement is more than a sales figure—it’s proof of growing consumer trust in electric motorcycles and a step forward in building a sustainable mobility ecosystem in India. As the company pushes boundaries with smarter, greener rides, the road ahead looks electrifying
