Ola Electric unveiled its flagship dealer partners to the company’s forthcoming electric three-wheeler – a sign of things to come beyond two-wheelers, as it prepares to launch its largest product portfolio yet. At the company’s first ever Dealer Day celebrations held at the company’s Giga Factory and Future Factory in Tamil Nadu, over 150 dealer partners from across 20 states came together to interact with the company’s leadership and tour the facilities. Positioned at the end of the Roadster motorcycle portfolio, Ola’s futuristic electric 3W – that targets the L5 category (both passenger and commercial) – was revealed to the dealer partners at the event.

The company is expected to position this vehicle to target commercial fleets, as India’s three-wheeler segment is one of the largest and most competitive segments in terms of commercial transportation, targeting both last mile passenger and freight transportation. With an electric L5 from Ola, the company could target a large addressable market in terms of commercial vehicle sales, rentals and logistics, as the Indian government pushes for alternate commercial vehicles.

The event marks Ola Electric’s latest step towards establishing a robust dealer ecosystem, as the company looks to scale its pan-India footprint. While Ola Electric has been focused on company-owned retail stores for its two-wheelers, these stores now also target to evolve as electric mobility destinations. In August 2026, the company began its transition from a company-owned retail model to a partner-led channel distribution model. As of Janmashtami (23 August), 100 dealer stores were launched across seven states – Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Bihar, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh – with more to roll out as the company looks to scale to hundreds of dealer outlets.

At the Dealer Day event, Chairman and Managing Director Bhavish Aggarwal said that the excitement and enthusiasm around the new partners was palpable. The tour of the factory enabled the partners to experience the company’s capabilities and manufacturing processes first-hand, apart from interacting closely with the company’s leadership. With the prototype (or early production version) of Ola’s electric three-wheeler already on display for the partners, the next set of questions are likely to revolve around specs, pricing and launch plans. For now, the unveiling at the dealer conference suggests that Ola’s multi-product EV portfolio is set to go beyond two-wheelers – and target the lucrative commercial vehicle segment, too.
