The Numeros Diplos Max already had a very good spec sheet when it came to its Motor, Battery and Range and now the Diplos Max Plus takes this a notch even higher! The Diplos Max Plus is powered by two removable Li-ion batteries with a combined capacity of 4kWh. All of this gives the scooter a claimed range of 156km, which is more than enough for everyday riding without having to worry about running out of charge every other day. Power comes through a hub-mounted motor that makes 2.89kW and 140Nm (both peak), which give it a claimed top speed of 70kmph.There are two riding modes as well – Eco & Normal, along with a Reverse Mode to easily back out of tight parking spots. With a gradeability of 14 degrees with a single rider. That shouldn’t be much of a problem on urban roads. The scooter has a 1.2kW charger that takes 3-4 hours to fully charge the batteries. The battery pack and the motor are IP67 rated as well which means riding the scooter in the rain or in shallow water is nothing to worry about. Braking duties are courtesy dual disc brakes – 220mm in the front and 180mm at the rear.
