Mahindra has officially launched its new BE6 Sporteq series, expanding the electric coupe-SUV lineup with refreshed technology, interior updates and a broader choice of battery packs. Buyers now have access to multiple configurations, including the 59 kWh battery pack priced at Rs 21.95 lakh and the 70 kWh option available at Rs 22.95 lakh on select Sporteq variants.
These mid-range battery choices sit within a wider pricing structure that begins at Rs 19.45 lakh for the entry-level Sporteq One with the 59 kWh pack and extends up to higher-spec models equipped with larger batteries. The introduction of the 70 kWh pack provides an intermediate capacity option between the established 59 kWh and 79 kWh units, giving customers greater flexibility to balance range, performance and cost according to their needs.
The BE6 Sporteq is also available under Mahindra’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme on lower variants, significantly reducing the upfront purchase price. Under BaaS, the starting rate begins at Rs 11.45 lakh for the base configuration, with the Pack Two 59 kWh variant available from Rs 12.95 lakh. Customers pay a per-kilometre usage fee for the battery while owning the vehicle body, making electric ownership more accessible.
Deliveries of the Sporteq range are scheduled to begin later this month. With its combination of new battery choices, attractive BaaS pricing and the tech-focused enhancements already introduced on the model, the Mahindra BE6 Sporteq strengthens the brand’s position in the competitive electric SUV segment by offering practical options for a wider range of buyers.
