Earlier teasers had also hinted at upcoming HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) and BEV models, with the Sorento Hybrid widely expected to be the hybrid offering.
The Kia Sorento will enter as a premium three-row family SUV, positioned above the Seltos and Carens in Kia India’s lineup. Measuring close to 4.8 metres in length (approximately 4,815 mm globally) with a wheelbase of around 2,815 mm, it offers spacious six- or seven-seat layouts suited for larger Indian families.
