Kia India has officially announced the prices for its highly anticipated Syros EV, the brand’s second mass-market electric vehicle in the country. The made-in-India compact electric SUV is positioned as an accessible and feature-rich option in the growing EV segment, with prices starting at ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variant-Wise Pricing (Ex-Showroom)
- 42 kWh Standard Range variants start from ₹13.49 lakh.
- 51.4 kWh Extended Range (ER) variants start from ₹16.99 lakh.
- Top-spec X-Line ER is priced at ₹19.99 lakh.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin from July 30, 2026. Bookings are already open with a token amount of ₹25,000.
Powertrain and Range
The Syros EV is offered with two battery packs:
- 42 kWh → Claimed range of around 443 km (MIDC), paired with a motor producing approximately 135 hp and 255 Nm torque.
- 51.4 kWh Extended Range → Class-leading claimed range of up to 526 km, with a more powerful motor delivering around 171 hp.
Both versions support fast charging, with the ability to go from 10-80% in just 39 minutes using a 100 kW DC fast charger. The vehicle is front-wheel drive and designed for everyday practicality with strong performance.

The Syros EV follows the Carens Clavis EV as Kia’s second locally produced electric model.
