JSW MG Motor India is gearing up to strengthen its premium electric vehicle lineup. While the company prepares to announce the prices of the recently unveiled Majestor SUV, it has confirmed plans to introduce another exciting new model in the coming months — the MG IM6 electric SUV coupe.
Set to arrive in India in August 2026, the IM6 will mark a significant addition to MG’s high-end offerings. Bookings are expected to open in July 2026, and the model will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). It will be retailed exclusively through MG’s premium Select retail channel, positioning it as an accessible entry point into the luxury EV segment, below the larger M9 MPV.
The MG IM6 boasts a stylish SUV coupe silhouette with a fastback roofline, aerodynamic contours, and a sporty stance. Built on an advanced 800V platform, the IM6 supports ultra-fast charging. It comes equipped with a 100 kWh battery pack and is expected to deliver a claimed range of over 600 km in certain configurations (international figures show up to 555–625 km depending on the variant and test cycle).Powertrain options include:
- Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD): Approximately 401–408 hp and 500 Nm torque, with 0–100 km/h acceleration in around 5.4 seconds.

The interior of the IM6 is highly tech-focused, highlighted by a massive 26.3-inch panoramic display that spans across the dashboard.
