Hyundai Creta Electric Knight Edition Launched at Rs. 21.45 Lakh

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has set the stage for the 2025 festive season with the launch of its exclusive Knight Edition lineup, introducing the Creta Electric Knight, i20 Knight, and Alcazar Knight, hot on the heels of the Creta King Edition launched just days ago. Building on the success of the Knight range, which has sold over 77,000 units since its debut in 2022, these new additions bring a bold, blacked-out aesthetic and premium features to Hyundai’s diverse portfolio. With six models now under the Knight umbrella—Creta Knight, Venue Knight, Exter Knight, Creta Electric Knight, i20 Knight, and Alcazar Knight—Hyundai offers one of India’s most comprehensive special edition lineups, designed to captivate style-conscious buyers.

The Knight Edition lineup is defined by its striking all-black theme, blending sophistication with a sporty edge. Each model features a host of visual enhancements, including gloss-black alloy wheels paired with eye-catching red brake callipers, blacked-out front and rear skid plates, side sills, roof rails, and rear spoilers. Matte-black Hyundai logos and the signature Knight emblem on the exterior further elevate the models’ road presence, making them stand out in urban and highway settings alike.

Inside, the Knight Editions continue the dark theme with premium black upholstery accented by brass highlights, lending a luxurious yet sporty feel. The dashboard features a Knight-specific finish with brass-colored inserts, complemented by sporty metal pedals and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob with brass stitching. These elements create a cohesive, premium cabin experience that distinguishes the Knight Editions from their standard counterparts.

The Creta Electric Knight marks Hyundai’s bold step into the electric vehicle (EV) segment with a special edition that combines eco-friendly performance with the Knight’s signature style. Based on the Creta Electric, this model retains the all-black exterior with gloss-black 17-inch alloy wheels, red brake callipers, and the Knight emblem. Inside, the cabin mirrors the Creta Knight’s design with black leatherette upholstery, brass accents, and sporty metal pedals. While specific performance details for the Creta Electric Knight are yet to be revealed, it is expected to offer a competitive range and fast-charging capabilities, making it a strong contender in India’s growing EV market.T

he Creta Electric Knight is poised to compete with compact EVs like the MG Comet EV and potentially the VinFast VF 3, if launched in India. For comparison, the VinFast VF 3 offers a 215 km range (NEDC) and a 10%-70% charge in 36 minutes, with compact dimensions (3,190 mm x 1,679 mm x 1,652 mm) and a 175 mm ground clearance. The Creta Electric Knight, likely larger and more premium, could appeal to buyers seeking a blend of style, space, and electric efficiency for urban and suburban driving.

The i20 Knight brings the Knight Edition’s bold aesthetic to Hyundai’s premium hatchback segment. Targeting younger buyers, it features a blacked-out grille, matte-black Hyundai logos, and gloss-black alloy wheels with red brake callipers. The interior is equally striking, with black upholstery, brass piping, and sporty metal pedals, creating a dynamic driving environment. Equipped with features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, wireless charging, and advanced safety features such as ABS and hill-start assist, the i20 Knight combines style with practicality, making it a strong rival to models like the Maruti Baleno and Tata Altroz.

The Alcazar Knight caters to buyers seeking a premium three-row SUV with a bold personality. Its exterior boasts blacked-out elements, including skid plates, roof rails, and 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels with red brake callipers, paired with the Knight emblem for a distinctive look. The cabin features black leatherette upholstery with brass accents, a Knight-specific dashboard finish, and sporty metal pedals, enhancing its premium appeal. With its spacious seating for six or seven passengers and advanced features like a panoramic sunroof and 360-degree camera, the Alcazar Knight is positioned to compete with rivals like the MG Hector Plus and Tata Safari.
