Citroën India has introduced the 2026 eC3X, a refreshed version of its popular electric micro-SUV. The update focuses primarily on styling enhancements and a significant boost in features, while retaining the same powertrain and battery setup as the current model. This strategic refresh aims to strengthen the eC3X’s appeal in the competitive entry-level electric SUV segment.
The 2026 Citroën eC3X is available with the flexible BaaS model, making it more accessible. Under BaaS, the ex-showroom price starts at ₹6.89 lakh, with a battery rental cost of ₹2.26 per km. The full ownership price (including battery) begins at ₹10.25 lakh ex-showroom. Bookings are now open across all Citroën dealerships and on the official Citroën India website.
The core powertrain remains identical to the existing eC3:
- Battery: 29.2 kWh air-cooled unit
- Motor: 57 bhp and 143 Nm of torque
- Performance: Top speed of 107 kmph
- Claimed Range: Up to 320 km (ARAI)
Citroën has chosen not to alter the mechanicals, concentrating instead on improving the ownership experience through design and technology upgrades.
The eC3X adopts a bolder, more premium look with several visual and functional additions:
- Signature All-LED lighting setup, including full LED headlamps and LED DRLs
- New R15 diamond-cut alloy wheels
- Electric adjust & auto-fold ORVMs
- Front and rear skid plates for a more rugged stance
- Front fog lamps
- Fresh ‘X’ badging that highlights the updated identity
These changes give the eC3X a more contemporary and distinctive road presence while maintaining its compact, urban-friendly proportions.
Inside, the cabin receives noticeable premium touches:
- New Electric Blu® theme
- Dual-tone premium leatherette seats
- LED interior lamps
The technology package is significantly enhanced with:
- A 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster with blue theme
- 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Electrochromic (auto-dimming) IRVM
- Wireless smartphone charger
- Connected Car 2.0 technology with over 40 remote access features
- JBL audio system
- Optional Front & Rear Dashcam with predictive safety functionality
These additions position the eC3X as one of the better-equipped vehicles in the sub-₹12 lakh electric micro-SUV space.
The 2026 Citroën eC3X is a smart, low-risk update that addresses key customer demands for better styling, lighting, comfort, and modern features without increasing complexity or cost on the mechanical side. With aggressive BaaS pricing and a richer equipment list, it looks poised to challenge Tata’s dominance in the electric micro-SUV segment more effectively.
Prospective buyers can head to Citroën showrooms or visit the official website to book the refreshed eC3X right away. Deliveries are expected to commence soon.
