Bolt.Earth and Simple Energy have announced a strategic collaboration to significantly enhance DC fast-charging infrastructure for electric two-wheelers in India. This partnership leverages Bolt.Earth’s extensive network of Blaze DC Type-6 chargers, making reliable and rapid charging more accessible for Simple Energy scooter owners across the country.

Earth operates over 270 Blaze DC chargers deployed in more than 100 cities, providing a ready-made backbone for fast charging. These chargers adhere to the LEVDC standard and are available in 3kW and 6kW variants, optimized for electric two- and three-wheelers. They enable quick top-ups—for instance, models in the series can deliver substantial range in short sessions, reducing downtime for riders.
All Simple Energy Gen 2 vehicles are already fully compatible with these Blaze DC Type-6 chargers, allowing owners to plug in seamlessly without additional hardware modifications. For Gen 1 vehicles, compatibility is on the horizon through an upcoming software update from Simple Energy, ensuring broader coverage across the brand’s user base.
Enhancing User Experience
Bolt.Earth’s chargers are currently accessible via its dedicated EV Charging App, which helps users locate available stations. To streamline the process further, the companies are developing integration of Bolt.Earth charger discovery directly into the Simple Connect App. This will create a unified, convenient experience for Simple Energy riders, eliminating the need to switch between multiple apps while on the go.
