Ather Energy has launched its new Konarc electric scooter in India, expanding its portfolio with a focus on offering multiple battery and range options to suit different customer requirements. The new Ather Konarc is available in two variants, Konarc S and Konarc Z, with different range configurations.
The Ather Konarc S is positioned as the more accessible version of the new electric scooter. Its entry-level version offers a claimed range of 100 km and is priced at Rs 99,999. The next version comes with a claimed range of 125 km and carries a price tag of Rs 1,21,999. Customers looking for a longer-range option can opt for the 161 km version, which is priced at Rs 1,44,999. A higher-range 200 km version has also been listed, although its price is yet to be announced.
The Konarc S therefore gives buyers a choice between 100 km, 125 km, 161 km and 200 km range configurations, making it possible to select a version based on daily commuting requirements and budget.
Alongside the Konarc S, Ather has also introduced the Konarc Z. The Konarc Z will be available with 125 km and 161 km range options. However, Ather has not yet revealed the prices of these two variants.
With the launch of the Konarc, Ather Energy is looking to strengthen its presence in India’s increasingly competitive electric two-wheeler market. The availability of multiple range options could help the company target customers looking for everything from an affordable city commuter to a longer-range electric scooter.
The Konarc S starts at Rs 99,999, making it one of the more accessible offerings in Ather’s range. The 161 km version priced at Rs 1,44,999 could appeal to buyers who want a balance between price and longer range, while the 200 km version is expected to target customers prioritising maximum range.
Ather has yet to announce the price of the Konarc S 200 km and both Konarc Z variants. More details regarding their pricing and availability are expected to be revealed by the company.
