Tesla has expanded its after-sales support network in India with the opening of a new Authorised Collision Center in Ahmedabad. Housed at Audi Center Ahmedabad, the facility will provide specialised repairs and service for Tesla vehicles, giving owners in Gujarat and neighbouring regions access to certified collision and bodywork support closer to home.
This addition brings the total number of Tesla Authorised Collision Centers in the country to five. The network now includes facilities in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. Alongside these partner centres, Tesla continues to operate two of its own Service Centers, located in Mumbai and Gurgaon, which handle a broader range of maintenance, diagnostics and software-related services.
Authorised Collision Centers play a critical role in Tesla’s ownership ecosystem. Because Tesla vehicles use specialised materials, battery systems, sensors and structural designs, repairs after accidents require trained technicians and specific procedures to maintain safety, performance and warranty integrity. Partnering with established facilities such as Audi Center Ahmedabad allows Tesla to extend this capability more quickly across key markets while ensuring consistent standards.
The expansion comes as Tesla’s presence in India continues to grow, with increasing numbers of Model Y and other vehicles on the road. Reliable access to certified repair services is an important factor for buyers considering premium electric vehicles, particularly in cities beyond the primary metros. By adding Ahmedabad to its collision network, Tesla strengthens coverage in western India and reduces the need for owners to travel long distances for body and structural repairs.
With five Authorised Collision Centers and two company-owned Service Centers now in place, Tesla is steadily building a more comprehensive support infrastructure. The new Ahmedabad facility marks another practical step in improving convenience and confidence for Tesla owners across the country.
