Bengaluru-based EV startup E3 Electric.AI has raised ₹100 Crore (approximately $10.4 Million) in a Series A funding round led by BluVenture Holdings. The fresh capital will fuel the company’s upcoming commercial launch of its first product — the E3 TRION, an intelligent AI-powered electric scooter.

The startup was founded by P Sanjeev, former Head of EV Business at TVS Motor Company. Leveraging his deep industry experience, Sanjeev and his team are developing next-generation electric scooters that go beyond conventional EVs by integrating advanced artificial intelligen

The E3 TRION is designed to stand out with a suite of intelligent features, including:

  • Predictive Maintenance — AI anticipates service needs before issues arise
  • Advanced Battery Safety — Real-time monitoring and protection systems
  • Smart Routing — Intelligent navigation optimized for range and traffic
  • Automatic Crash Detection — With emergency response capabilities

These features aim to deliver a safer, smarter, and more reliable ownership experience for customers.

The ₹100 Cr funding will be utilised to:

  • Accelerate product development and final testing
  • Strengthen technology stack and intellectual property
  • Scale manufacturing and supply chain capabilities
  • Expand presence across around 90 cities/markets in India ahead of the launch

With this capital infusion, E3 Electric.AI is gearing up for a strong market entry in the highly competitive electric two-wheeler segment. The company aims to differentiate itself through AI-driven intelligence rather than competing solely on price or basic specifications.

Speaking on the development, founder P Sanjeev highlighted the vision to build scooters that are not just electric but truly “intelligent” — capable of learning and adapting to Indian riding conditions while prioritising rider safety and convenience.

The Indian electric two-wheeler market continues to grow rapidly, and E3 Electric.AI’s AI-focused approach positions it as an innovative player targeting tech-savvy customers and fleet operators.

The E3 TRION is expected to be launched in the coming months. More details on pricing, variants, and exact specifications will be revealed closer to the launch date.
