Mahindra is rapidly expanding its dedicated electric vehicle portfolio under the ‘Electric Origin’ or ‘Born Electric’ umbrella. This includes two distinct product lines: the more performance-oriented BE (Born Electric) family and the XEV lineup, which leans toward premium comfort and practicality.
The BE range currently features the BE 6 and its sportier BE 6 FE (Formula E) edition. Mahindra is now preparing to introduce a third model — the production version of the striking BE.07 concept, internally codenamed B07. This will mark the sixth model overall on Mahindra’s advanced INGLO EV platform.
The BE.07 is expected to be a mid-to-premium electric SUV, larger than the BE 6 and positioned as a family-friendly yet stylish offering. It draws inspiration from the 2022 BE.07 concept, featuring a sleek, athletic profile with a sloping roofline (coupe-SUV elements), C-shaped LED headlamps, a blanked-off grille, blacked-out pillars, large alloy wheels, and a raked rear windshield.

With the BE 6, XEV 9e, XEV 9S, and now the upcoming BE.07 (plus others), Mahindra aims to build a comprehensive Born Electric lineup.
