TVS Motor Transforms Electric Scooter into Canvas for Art: Unveils Three Custom TVS X Creations at Bengaluru Soirée

In a refreshing departure from conventional product launches, TVS Motor Company hosted an intimate private event titled the TVS X Collectors’ Soirée in Bengaluru on Saturday, March 22, 2026. The evening brought together collectors, fashion designers, artisans, and cultural enthusiasts to celebrate the intersection of modern electric mobility and India’s rich artistic heritage.

At the heart of the soirée were three one-of-a-kind custom-built versions of the TVS X electric scooter. Each piece was meticulously crafted in collaboration with renowned fashion designer Manoviraj Khosla, drawing deep inspiration from Karnataka’s vibrant cultural and artistic traditions — including elements reminiscent of Hampi’s architectural grandeur, Channapatna’s iconic wooden crafts, and the regal legacy of Mysuru.

The bespoke scooters were not displayed as mere prototypes but presented as wearable, rideable works of art. They were subsequently auctioned to passionate collectors, with all proceeds directed to A Hundred Hands, a Karnataka-based non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering artisan communities across the state.

The event, held at a premium venue in the city, was deliberately framed not as a typical sales or technical showcase, but as a cultural initiative. Attendees described the atmosphere as elegant and inspiring, blending high-end design, traditional craftsmanship, and futuristic mobility in one evening.

According to TVS Motor, the TVS X Collectors’ Soirée marks the beginning of a planned series of such exclusive gatherings. The company intends to position the premium TVS X electric scooter as a recurring canvas for collaborating with regional artists, designers, and craftspeople from different parts of India.Karnataka serves as the opening chapter, with future editions expected to spotlight the unique art, culture, and heritage of other states. By doing so, TVS Motor aims to create deeper emotional connections with its customers while supporting local artisan ecosystems.

This initiative reflects a growing trend among premium Indian brands to go beyond performance and technology, using their flagship products to tell cultural stories and contribute meaningfully to society.

The TVS X, already positioned as a high-performance electric scooter with futuristic styling and advanced features, proved to be the perfect blank canvas for artistic expression. The custom editions seamlessly fused traditional motifs and handcrafted elements with the scooter’s sleek, modern design language — proving that sustainability and cultural preservation can coexist beautifully with cutting-edge electric mobility.

While the final auction amounts were not publicly disclosed, the company emphasised that the real success lay in raising awareness and funds for artisan communities, many of whom continue to struggle to preserve traditional crafts in a rapidly modernising India.

The TVS X Collectors’ Soirée has set a new benchmark for how automotive brands can engage with audiences — turning a product launch into a meaningful cultural movement.

With more editions planned across the country, TVS Motor appears determined to redefine what a premium electric scooter can represent: not just a vehicle for the future, but a moving celebration of India’s living heritage.
