India’s electric two-wheeler segment continued its strong run in November 2025, registering 1,16,849 units despite the usual post-festive season slowdown. This makes November the second-highest monthly sales figure of the calendar year, surpassed only by a record-breaking October that remains the industry’s all-time peak.
The month belonged to TVS Motor Company, which stormed back to the No. 1 position it had briefly surrendered to Bajaj in October. With seven monthly chart-topping performances in 2025, TVS has firmly re-established itself as the segment leader.

TVS Regains Crown with Convincing Margin
After losing the top spot to Bajaj in October, TVS delivered 30,309 units in November, securing a comfortable 4,783-unit lead over its closest rival. The company commanded 26% market share and extended its year-to-date (YTD) tally to 2,72,874 units—well clear of the competition. TVS had dominated the charts for six straight months from April to September before the brief October setback. A strong second-half surge in November turned a slender 1,627-unit mid-month lead into a decisive victory.
Bajaj Holds Firm in Second
Bajaj Auto, riding high after its October triumph, had to settle for second place with 25,526 units and 22% share. The evergreen Chetak continues to enjoy steady pan-India demand, keeping Bajaj firmly in the top-tier fight. YTD sales stand at an impressive 2,50,366 units.
Ather Solidifies Third Position
Ather Energy retained third spot with 20,323 units (18% share), driven largely by the popularity of the family-oriented Rizta scooter. Consistent month-on-month growth has made Ather a dependable top-three player.
Hero Vida’s Big Leap – Overtakes Ola Electric
The surprise package of November was Hero MotoCorp’s Vida brand, which jumped to fourth position by selling 12,199 units—a massive 66% growth over the 7,352 units dispatched in November 2024. Strong demand for the recently launched Vida VX2 propelled Hero past Ola Electric for the first time, earning the brand a 10% market share.
Ola Electric’s Sharp Decline Continues
Ola Electric had a difficult November, managing only 8,400 units and slipping to fifth place with just 7% share. This represents a steep 71% year-on-year drop from the 29,322 units sold in November 2024. The company’s 2025 YTD total of 1,90,088 units now trails TVS by over 82,000 units and Bajaj by more than 60,000 units, while Ather (1,83,163 units) is closing the gap rapidly—only 6,925 units behind.
Ola’s best monthly performance this year remains January’s 24,411 units, and the company has struggled to regain that early momentum amid intensifying competition and operational challenges.
Outlook
With TVS and Bajaj pulling away at the front, Ather and a resurgent Hero Vida gaining ground, and Ola Electric facing its toughest phase yet, the Indian electric two-wheeler market is witnessing one of its most competitive chapters. As subsidies, charging infrastructure, and new model launches shape the coming months, the race for leadership in 2026 has already begun.
