Ultraviolette has begun deliveries of the X-47 Venom electric motorcycle in India at an introductory price of Rs 2,65.00 for the first 5,000 units. The standard starting price is Rs 3 lakh, with discounts of Rs 35,000 for early adopters. Higher trims with larger battery packs and additional features are available at prices up to Rs 4.12 lakh. The bookings for the motorcycle have opened on 22 October 2026 and the deliveries are set to commence this November. Additionally, Ultraviolette will unveil and launch the X-47 Venom in Europe at the EICMA 2026 motorcycle show in Milan.

The X-47 Venom is the first motorcycle to be manufactured on the company’s new VX-100 100V platform, which is expected to form the basis for future models from the Bengaluru-based electric vehicle maker. The motorcycle weighs 180 kg – up to 20 kg lighter than the previous model. It is powered by a new UV LIGHTFURY motor that generates 30 kW or 40 bhp and 550 Nm of torque at the wheels. The company claims it accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in 2.7 seconds and from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds with a top speed of 155 km/h.

The motorcycle offers two battery pack options – the larger SRB-11 with 11 kWh usable capacity is estimated to deliver a claimed IDC range of 343 km on a single charge, while the smaller 7,5 kWh pack is good for 227 km. The new battery pack uses improved cells with higher energy density and better axial cooling, which improves cooling performance by up to 200 percent over the previous design. The motorcycle offers up to 12 kW DC fast charging capabilities, which Ultraviolette claims makes it the first electric two-wheeler in India to offer such a feature, along with a 1,6 kW Onboard Charger.

The motorcycle comes with a 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen, cruise control, radar-based rider assistance, front and rear dash cams, navigation, and connectivity features. It also offers 200 mm of ground clearance. The X-47 retains the crossover looks of the previous model but benefits from the improved power and range offered by the new VX-100 platform and its lower weight. The X-47 Venom electric motorcycle with its longer range, lower weight, improved performance and introductory pricing is set to strengthen Ultraviolette’s position in the premium electric motorcycle segment in India as deliveries commence this month.
